Blessing of the Animals

Jeremy Pace, Worship Associate

Our animals add so much to our lives—companionship, cuddles, comfort, entertainment making sure we get a daily walk—this Sunday we return the favor, with a blessing of the animals, in recognition of all they do, including the many animals around the world that don’t live with us.

For this special multigenerational service, you are welcome to bring your well behaved two-legged and four-legged animal friends. Please be sure that they are on a leash or in a carrier. Stuffed animals may stand-in for your furry friends. Please bring pictures (or mementos) to place on the altar, as the service will include a time to celebrate the life of beloved pets that have passed away.
