Imagine planning to leave your home… maybe forever. What would you bring with you? What would you leave behind? This week, we take a sacred moment to reflect on the human side of migration and displacement. Through imagination, empathy, and spiritual grounding, we’ll explore the visible and invisible things people carry when they are forced to leave their place of origin, potentially travelling hundreds or thousands of miles on their journey. In doing so, we ask: How can we lighten the load for others—and what does our faith call us to carry in return?
