Amblers
Emerson Amblers: Join us as we walk and talk on Mondays. We stroll along at a slow, easy pace on mostly flat ground. We alternate each week between the *north- and *south-west San Fernando Valley. Especially during the changing summer temperatures check notices weekly and/or with LindaBeth to verify time and place. When the weather is too hot (above 85) or rainy, we meet inside an air conditioned mall* at 4 pm (to avoid crowds). When the weather is pleasant, we meet about 1-1/2 hours before sunset (5:30 pm now?) either at Orcutt Ranch in the South or in Chatsworth in the North SF Valley.

We welcome recommendations for different places to stroll (slow, easy pace on mostly flat ground).
– Day’s high under 80 degrees: 5 pm, Orcutt Ranch: 23600 Roscoe Boulevard, Canoga Park (nearing the west end of Roscoe).
– Over 85 degrees: 4 pm, Topanga Westfield Mall: Enter Owensmouth parking structure north of Victory and meet at the 2nd floor food court overlooking the ground floor near the Apple Store.
– Day’s high under 82 degrees: 5 pm, Chatsworth: Rockpointe, a tree-lined community. Meet at the northwest corner of Devonshire & Larwin (several blocks west of Topanga Blvd., the last street before the entrance to Chatsworth Park South).
– Over 85 degrees: 4 pm, Northridge Mall: Enter parking structure via Shirley & Prairie, park underground & meet on the ground floor near Old Navy, across from Macy’s.
