“Approaching Life with a Beginner’s Mind”

There’s a word in Zen Buddhism, Shoshin, that means “Beginner’s Mind” a concept that refers to having an attitude of openness, leaving aside preconceptions and seeing things with new eyes. “Beginner’s Mind” is valuable not just in learning new things “but in all of life.”
