Our first meeting of 2017 will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017, at 10:30 a.m., in the Pavilion.
Issues of aging come up for most of us at some time in our lives. Many Emerson members and friends are dealing with these issues, along with their loved ones. The ELDERS’ CIRCLE is a space to talk about issues around aging with Rev. Matthew, members of our Pastoral Care Team, and each other. It will also be an opportunity to find support in community, and gain resources and tools to help navigate the challenges that come with age.
Pastoral Care members Heather Medvitz and others will join Rev. Matthew for this first meeting.
This group is for caregivers and those needing or anticipating growing needs for care. This will be our third meeting. Among other things, we talk about caregiver support, aging in place resources, and the documentation we need to prepare in advance for ourselves and for our loved ones.
