Marsha Schwartz, a speaker with the League of Women Voters, will visit Emerson Unitarian Universalist Church on October 23, 2016, from 12:00 noon till 1:30 p.m. to help clarify the California Propositions. Here’s what she will speak on:

  • Overview of all the propositions, with special emphasis on 52, 53, 54, 58, 59, 61, 63, 64, 66
  • If there’s time: 55, 56, 57, 62

Ms. Schwartz is a retired LAUSD history teacher and is well-versed in the California Propositions.

The meeting, sponsored by Emerson’s Justice Advocacy Ministry (JAM), will be held in the Pavilion from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m. This event is open to the public and is free. Childcare will be provided.
