JustWeb, Emerson’s social action group that educates and supports action items where issues of environmental need and human justice intersect, will meet on the second Sunday, October 9, 2016, to screen a 2011 movie, “Miss Representation,” about the dearth of women in power. As we approach the first U.S. presidential election EVER with a woman candidate from a major party, perhaps this will answer some questions about how the media coverage and the public perception of these candidates is being manipulated.
