Sacred Cinema: Wild

Todd Covert, Worship Associate

This Sunday we explore the theme of getting lost to find yourself, as we continue our Sacred Cinema series with Wild—a film about a woman who, following several personal crises, sets out to hike more than 1,000 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail alone, with no outdoors experience, a heavy backpack and not much more than her own will.

On the fourth Friday of each month we watch a film in the Sanctuary, and then explore its themes and meanings in that Sunday’s service. Come a little early for our Friday Fun and Fellowship on January 27, for a community potluck at 6 PM, followed by a screening of Wild at 7 PM.

Special Music: “When the Night Feels My Song” by Bedouin Soundclash, offered by Matthew McHale, Hap Palmer, Adam Nisenholz & Kevin Mathie
